The Studio NYC held a Grand Re-Opening Party last weekend to announce that they are taking their Rockefeller Center flagship to the next level. Originally known as the professional beauty destination for salon owners and stylists to participate in innovative training courses, Clairol’s R&D Salon moved in.Now, innovation and education can happen at the same time and place.


“We’ve been dreaming about this for a little while and really needed our flagship to take the personality of who we are today,” remarked John Moroney, Creative Director of P&G Professional Care.

P&G executives, DeVries Public Relations representatives, Wella and Clairol Professional stylists all gathered together to celebrate the news over mojitos and an inspiring presentation. “Bringing artistry and technology together is the next generation of creating new innovations, ” commented Reuben Carranza, Director of P&G Salon Professional Exclusive Line Brands in North America

Wella stylists including: The Doves, Nick Arrojo, Nick Berardi as well as Clairol Professional stylists Anita Gutierrez and Danny Lapointe presented cuts and colors on models that reflected the unique personalities behind all of the P&G professional brands.

Terri Donnelly, Vice President of Education, announced each of the stylists and proudly concluded, “Now we’re a one-stop-shop for education and inspiration.”
