Before there was a whiff of anything in the air, Womanity.com went live as a marketing campaign to build buzz on what was to come - the latest fragrance addition from designer Thierry Mugler and partner Clarins. On the website visitors can find various contests, currently the prize is a trip to Paris to make someone’s dream come true. The fragrance is the first expression of womanity, but on the website, women all over the world are encouraged to explain what womanity means to them. The top five explanations will be voted upon and Mr. Mugler himself will decide on which idea of womanity should become a reality… in Paris.
The brand held five mini-events at the Clarins headquarters in NYC where media enjoyed champagne and got an overview of the new fragrance, Mugler’s third in almost 20 years.
NYCs Providence Club hosted a mock "Dancing With The Stars" in honor of skincare line Cerave and two new products. The luncheon brought together the media with execs from Coria Labs and Dermatologist Hilary Baldwin who performed as "judges" for the dancing team that shimmied and sashayed across the floor.
To celebrate the longest day of the year, jane iredale held a summer solstice event to discuss safe sun. Beauty bloggers and online editors gathered around a table at Serafina in NYC’s Upper East Side to lunch with the infamous Jane Iredale of jane iredale mineral makeup and Dermatologist, Dr. Bruce Katz.
Victoria's Secret hosted an opulent breakfast for the media to announce the launch of it's new fragrance concept Bombshell. Adorned with thousands of fresh pink and white Peonies, New York's St. Regis Hotel was bursting with beauty including that of VS faces Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Candace Swanepoel "Bombshell is a sexy energy that comes from inside" said Ambrosio to the guests as she stood with her model colleagues. Also on hand were Victoria's Secret execs Sharen Turney, Shashi Batra, Karine Schnapp and Mark Knitowski.
The leading brand in mass bronzers, Physicians Formula, held a press event at Blue Sky Communications to showcase their latest additions to their cosmetic collection, Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls and Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Pressed Shimmer Bronzer.
